POLICIES
deposits
A $200 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit is required to book an appointment and commence the design process.

Deposits are tied to a specific date and must be received before any design work begins.

Deposits are not required for consultations.

If you cancel, reschedule improperly, change the project significantly, or do not show-up, the deposit will be forfeited.

rescheduling
Rescheduling within 72 hours of your appointment will result in a forfeited deposit. A new deposit will be required to book again.

If you cancel more than 72 hours in advance but do not secure a new date at that time, it is considered a cancellation and a new deposit will be required.

Up to two reschedules may be accommodated. After that, it is at the artist’s discretion whether another deposit will be required.

If you are more than 30 minutes late, the appointment will be canceled and treated as a no-show.

If you decide to change the project to something fundamentally different from what was originally booked, it will be treated as a cancellation unless the artist agrees to the new concept.

If you are sick or experiencing symptoms, notify the artist as soon as possible. Please do not wait until the day of your appointment!

Your time, money, and health are valued and respected. I kindly ask for the same consideration in return.
Thank you.
CARE INTRUCTIONS
preparing for your appointment
To ensure the best possible result:
-
Moisturize the area daily during the week leading up to your appointment.
-
Trim hair if needed, but do not shave. Razor burn or cuts may delay your session.
-
Get good sleep and eat a solid meal beforehand. Low blood sugar makes tattooing harder on your body.
-
You’re welcome to bring non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.
-
Guests are permitted, but depending on studio policy, they may need to wait in the lobby.
-
Please arrive on time and plan for traffic. I arrive early to prepare for you, and I greatly appreciate clients who respect the schedule as well.
aftercare
I use two aftercare methods: Saniderm (second skin) or the Open-Air Method.

Saniderm (Preferred Method)
-
Unless you have had a previous reaction, this is recommended for the first few days.
-
The first bandage will be applied on the day of your appointment and should stay on for at least 24 hours.
-
After removing it, wash the tattoo gently with fragrance-free soap using your fingertips. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
-
Apply a second Saniderm bandage to clean, dry skin (no ointment underneath).
-
Leave the second bandage on for 4 days, as long as it remains fully sealed.
-
If the bandage lifts and exposes any part of the tattoo, remove it completely and switch to the open-air method.
-
All activity restrictions apply during this time.
Open-Air Method
-
Use this method if Saniderm is not suitable or becomes ineffective.
-
Wash gently with fragrance-free soap using your fingertips.
-
Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
-
Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor (or similar tattoo aftercare product) whenever the tattoo feels dry.
-
The goal is to prevent heavy scabbing, which can pull ink from the skin and require additional work.
-
Continue daily care until the tattoo naturally dries and peels (similar to a mild sunburn). Once peeling is complete, you may switch to a regular fragrance-free lotion.

Avoid the Following (!)
For the first week:
-
No gym sessions or heavy cardio
-
No swimming, baths, hot tubs, saunas, or steam rooms
-
No direct sun exposure (use sunscreen once fully healed)
-
When peeling begins, the area may feel itchy. Do not scratch or pick. You may gently pat the area, but do not rub.
FOLLOW-UP SESSION
realism pieces only
Realistic tattoos often require a follow-up session to fully complete the piece. Because soft shading is used to create smooth gradients and long-term depth, revisiting the healed tattoo helps ensure the tones and details are solid and lasting.

This is not considered a “fix” or correction. It is part of the realistic tattoo process and will be charged according to the amount of work needed.
